Have you seen the new YouTube video yet?

We have recently filmed and edited a video with new paintings from the "Universe" series. Maybe, you do not know that besides the Struchaieva Art online gallery, you can also get acquainted with my work on the YouTube channel, where I regularly post videos of my artworks. There you can examine in detail various fragments of the paintings, and the musical accompaniment helps to better understand the mood and message of the artwork itself. And today my YouTube channel has been replenished with a video about a new oil painting called "Rain Man".

This painting was created back in the spring, but due to circumstances related to quarantine and precautions, videos and photos were taken only recently. Being in conditions of self-isolation, each of us got an additional opportunity to be alone with ourselves. Thanks to this, I, also, was able to abstract myself from the daily routine and spend more time in my workshop without tracking the fleeting passage of time.

I deeply believe that the mood and morale state of an artist affect the canvas he/she is working with. So, in this painting I see a reflection of my inner state and mood. For me, this artwork reflects our unconscious impulses and images taken from the distant past, but firmly imprinted in our memory. We may not attach much importance to them in the cycle of everyday affairs, but left alone with ourselves, we understand that they are always with us. We turn for an advice to them or conduct an imaginary dialogue, when are left alone.
