Each of them is unique, has its own message and history of creation. But now, it is time to think about the tenth, anniversary series of paintings.

What will be the new series of paintings?

The new series of paintings will be devoted to the issues of the Universe, the place of man in this vast world, the predetermination of fate and the relationship between the spiritual and material worlds. It will closely intertwine abstraction and detailed portrayal of the paintings heroes. Fabulous landscapes will become the place, where the plots of the artworks from this series will unfold. They will not objectify real geolocations, but our internal location during the experience of certain emotions and feelings.

By the way, some of the paintings are already presented on the site in one of the existing series. What was the inspiration for the creation of a new series of paintings?

This year, circumstances have forced most of us to find ourselves in an unusual and uncomfortable state of isolation from the outside world. Moreover, at the beginning of the pandemic, the entire globe plunged into uncertainty, where it is still partly remains. And as we know, it is human nature to fear and resist all the unknown. Especially, when this something unknown is a virus that poses a danger to the health and lives of people.

We found ourselves in a new world for us, where many well-established processes lost their reliability and relevance. And at the same time, we got the long-awaited opportunity to stay alone with ourselves and put things in order in our inner world.

During this period the sketches of the paintings began to appear, which I plan to put into a separate series called "Angels of the Universe". All those mixed feelings and emotions that I had the opportunity to analyze while observing the quarantine were embodied in fabulous images on the canvas.

Perhaps, the current circumstances helped us to look differently at the world around us and made us look into the world inside us. After all, some things have almost completely lost their value, while others, on the contrary, have appeared in a new light.

Thus, the changes in the outside world and the opportunity to stay alone with the inner self served as an inspiration for the creation of a new series of artworks.
